Experience and musical background

My experience as a musician began in New York, throughout the 70's and 80's. Alongside academic studies, the greatest influences came from private teachers, them being already well- known and established professional artists themselves. I studied classical piano, music theory, jazz improvisation, arranging and composing, for all styles of popular music and jazz, including extensive studies, on the electric bass and drums.

With my experience as vocal coach and singing teacher, I began working and performing with several gifted and talented vocalists in New York City. I developed a solid singing technique and a relaxed, professional teaching method for the modern singing styles of Rock, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Soul and Funk. Later, as vocal coach and producer, I arranged songs and vocal tracks for singers in my demo studio. I also worked freelance with on-location studio projects. Already having a background in audio electronics, I used this knowledge for studio and soundmixing technique.

Throughout the years, I have recorded professionally with various artists, performing in the U.S. and Europe. I have extensive experience teaching both privately and in a variety of music schools. Today, I remain based in Hamburg, Germany, teaching privately and working in my production studio and occasionally performing. I am currently arranging a CD project of my original Pop-Soul-Jazz music.
